The fans of hockey have compiled the results of recently concluded Australia tour of Indian teams, where women’s team impressed with their performance under Coach CR Kumar while their men counterparts did not do very well. Men’s team had won the recently concluded Asian Champions Trophy 2011, which was first assignment of newly appointed chief coach Michael Nobbs, but the results were surprisingly bad in Australia. Coach Michael Nobbs should have got a good guess of players’ weakness, strengths both mental and physical, skills, etc after these two international tours of the team. I hope we will be seeing better performance by the team India in the future tournaments, and will start climbing the ladder with Champions Challenge I, which is will start on 26th November 2011 at Johansberg, South Africa.
