Walsh will be the Chief Coach the Indian Senior Men Hockey Team

New Delhi, 15 October 2013: Terence (Terry) Walsh has been appointed the Chief Coach of the Indian Senior Men National Hockey Team. Terry Walsh has vast experience of coaching and represented Australia in three Olympics and four World Cups.

Hockey India Secretary General Dr. Narinder Batra said that the appointment of Mr. Walsh is an important step to ensure an appropriate program is in place for our senior men team. 2014 is an important year for Indian Hockey. The season which commence with World League Round 4 at Delhi and terminates with Champions Trophy in India. In between the team will be participating in three very important and prestigious events i.e FIH Men’s World Cup, Commonwealth Games & Asian Games. Continue reading →
