England women’s squad named for EuroHockey Championships

Ahead of the TriFinance EuroHockey Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, England Head Coach Jason Lee has named his squad of 18 athletes who will compete from 17-24 August.

Named in the squad are nine London 2012 bronze medallists, which includes the welcome return of treble Olympian Helen Richardson who has recovered from a back injury she had surgery on earlier this year. Joining Richardson is the youngest member of the squad, 18 year old Lily Owsley, who made her debut at the Investec World League in June shortly after completing her A Level exams. Jackson will miss EuroHockey Championships, Lewers return to Action

Ahead of the TriFinance EuroHockey Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, England Head Coach Bobby Crutchley has named his squad of 18 athletes who will compete from 18-25 August.

Smith names Electric Ireland Irish Women’s Squad for EuroHockey Championship

Electric Ireland Irish Women’s Coach Darren Smith has today named his squad for this summer’s TriFinance EuroHockey Championships 2013 from August 17th – 25th in Belgium.

The Irish coach has selected his panel following review of the Electric Ireland Irish Senior Squad recent extensive International series vs. Canada, Wales & Scotland in which 27 players were involved. Ireland are in Pool A at the TriFinance EuroHockey Championships where they will face The Netherlands, Belarus & hosts Belgium. Continue reading →
