Chandigarh won the Sub-Junior Men Hockey Nationals 2015 (B-Division) in Jammu

Chandigarh Olympic Association have won the 5th Sub Junior National Hockey Championship 2015 (Men) ‘B’ Division concluded today in Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir). The team from Chandigarh defeated Hockey Patiala by 6-4 in the final to win the title.

Hockey Madhya Pradesh secured the third position after a tough fight against Dadra & Nagar Haveli Hockey Association in the Bronze Medal match. The 3rd place was decided after a shoot-out at the astro-turf in Jammu, which was won by  Hockey Madhya Pradesh with a score board reading 5-3 (2-2). Continue reading →

Gangpur-Odisha won the Jr Women Hockey Nationals 2015 (B-Division)

Hockey Gangpur-Odisha defeated Hockey Patiala by 2-1 to win the 5th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship (Division B) concluded today at Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh). Whereas, Chandigarh Olympic Association won a close fought battle defeating Hockey Uttarakhand with 2-1 and settled with the third position.

Madhya Pradesh are champions of Sr Women’s Hockey Nationals 2015 (B-Division)

Hockey Madhya Pradesh defeated Hockey Patiala 4-0 to clinch the title of the 5th Senior National Hockey Championship 2015 (Women) ‘’B’’ Division at Saifai today. In the Bronze Medal match, Hockey Bihar edged past Association of Indian Universities by 3-2 to finish at 3rd position in the tournament.

Hockey Madhya Pradesh convincingly beat Hockey Patiala 4-0 and lifted the title of the 5th Senior National Hockey Championship 2015 (Women) ‘’B’’ Division today. Hockey Madhya Pradesh produced a clinical performance throughout the match and left no scope for Hockey Patiala to score. Hockey Madhya Pradesh drew their first blood through Jyoti Pal who then sneaked in three goals in the 23rd, 26th and 29th minute, the first one coming from a penalty corner and the other two field goals.
