Railway won Sr Women Hockey National 2015 (A-Division), Punjab 3rd

Women’s Hockey team of Railway Sports Promotion Board won the 5th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2015 (Division A) at SAFAI (Uttar Pradesh ) to make it double title for their employer. Earlier last week, their men counterparts had won the 5th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2015 (Division A) at Pune.

MPHA won Sub-Junior Women Hockey Nationals (A Division) at Pune

New Delhi, 27th May 2014: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Jharkhand 5-2 in the finals of the 4th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Hockey Championship (Division A) held at Pune, Maharashtra today. While Chandigarh defeated Haryana 3-1 to finish win the Bronze Medal.

In the final match played between Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Hockey Jharkhand, the opening goal of the match came from MPHA’s Preeti Dubey as early as in the 2nd minute of the game. Two quick goals collaborated by Pratibha Arya and Preeti Dubey in the 17th and 22nd minute respectively indicated the game to be in favour of MPHA . Haryana vs MPHA in final of Jr Women Nationals (A-Division)

22nd March 2014: Haryana defeated Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy overcame Hockey Odisha to enter the finals of the 4th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2014 (Division A) to be played at Chamundi Vihar Hockey Ground in Mysore tomorrow.

Haryana will meet Jharkhand and Hockey Odisha to fight Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy in the semi-finals this Saturday.

In Pool B match, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy registered their third consecutive win after beating Bhopal 4-0 and qualified to play the semi-finals. Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy’s Rakhi Prajapati damaged Bhopal’s confidence in the 9th minute of the game by successfully piercing in a field goal. Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy took the lead ahead with a 3-0 margin by the end of the first half when Captain Priyanka Wankhede and Suman Devi TH struck two field goals in a span of two minutes in the 20th and 21st minute, respectively. 2nd Win for Odisha & MPHA at Jr Women Nationals (A-Division)

19 March 2014: The hosts Karnataka tasted their first win as they defeated Hockey Bhopal with a proficient 4-1 in Pool B of the 4th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2014 (Division A) played at Chamundi Vihar Hockey Ground today.

Karnataka played a well strategized game today, as in the first half of the game they kept switching their stance between attack and defense. It was Karnataka’s Ramya N. who stroked in the first goal for the team just a minute before the end of the first half in the 34th minute and helped the team take a 1-0 lead till the half time. Day 4 at Sub-Junior Hockey National Championship (Final) 2013: Chandigarh and MPHA Complete Women’s Semis Line-up

New Delhi, 24 May 2013: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Chandigarh women entered the semi-finals of the 3rd Hockey India Sub-Junior Men & Women National Championship (Final) 2013 played at SAI Centre, Bhopal on Friday and now will face Jharakhand and Haryana in semi-finals respectively to be played tomorrow.

Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Karnataka 6-1 in their last league encounter of Pool A. The goal scorers for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy were Upasna (10 min), Anuja (39, 52 min), Preeti (40 min), Karishma (65 min) and Neha (70 min) while Spurthi (12 min) scored the only goal for Karnataka.
