10 June 2013: The Hockey Maharashtra, Odisha and Himachal Pradesh completed the quarter-finals line-up of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2013 being played at Moti Lal Nehru Sports Complex, Rai in Sonepat (Haryana).
The hosts Haryana, along with Punjab, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Sports Authority of India are the other teams who have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
In Pool B, Odisha defeated Tamil Nadu 7-1 in their concluding league match. Odisha scored through Dipsan Tirkey (6 min), Jpseph Toppo (6 min), Joseph Toppo (24 min), Sunil Ekka (33 min), Saroj Barla (45 min), Felix Baa (60 min) and Teophil Kujur (64, 70 min) while M Dhilleepan (3 min) scored for Tamil Nadu. 7 June 2013: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy became the fourth team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Men National Championship being played at Moti Lal Nehru Sports Complex, Rai in Sonepat (Haryana).
Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Bihar 11-1 in their last league match of Pool G to join hosts Haryana, Punjab and SAI in quarter-finals. New Delhi, 1 June 2013: Services started their campaign of Pune Hockey Nationals 2013 on a winning note defeating Goa 28-0 in their first league match of Pool C played at Shiv Chattrapati Sports Complex in Pune on Saturday.
Services scored through Siraju AP (7, 13, 25, 26, 32, 61 min), Ved Prakash (16, 69 min), Sanwar (Ali 22, 31, 33, 51, 52, 53, 56, 57 min), Ignace Tirkey (23, 28 min), Lovepreet Singh (29, 34, 38, 49 min), Johnny Jasrotia (48 min), K Hera Singh (54, 59 min), Rajesh Kumar (58 min) and S Arumugam (62, 64 min while Goa failed to score any goal.

New Delhi, 31 May 2013: Defending Champions Punjab start their campaign with a big win over Gujarat 30-0 in their opening league match of Pool A in the 3rd Hockey India Senior Men National Championship played at Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex in Pune on Friday.

Experienced side Punjab started their game on attacking mode and successfully built pressure on their opponents. Forward Vikramjit Singh scored maximum seven goals for Punjab followed by Simranjit Singh (6), Inderjeet Singh (5), Sarvanjit Singh (4), Ravi Pal (3), Jarnail Singh (3), Vikas Sharma (1) and Sandeep Singh (1).

Pradhan Somanna, Affan Yousuf and Joga Singh scored three goals each as Air India raced to a 15-0 win against Chhattisgarh in their Pool B league match of Hockey National Championship being played in Pune.

Sanjay Bir and B Horo scored five goals each as Railways easily defeated Jammu & Kashmir 20-1 in their Pool F league match. Railways scored through Sanjay Bir (2, 56, 63, 66, 68 min), Jagandeep Singh (9 min), B. Horo (11, 17, 40, 43, 61min, Jasjeet Singh (19, 26, 44min), Gurpreet Singh (27 min), Niyaz Rahim (34 min), Ram Prakash (35 min), Irshad Mirza (59 min) and Vinod Kumar Singh (67, 69min) while Sikander Pal Singh (12 min) scored the only goal for Jammu & Kashmir.
