Katelyn Falgowski earned her 150th cap against Italy at London

LONDON, England – June 23, 2013 – Katelyn Falgowski, known as “Falgo” by many of her teammates, has already had a tremendous field hockey career and she is only 24-years old. Her accolades include two-time Olympian, Pan American gold medalist, NCAA National Champion, International Hockey Federation Young Player of the Year nominee and that is just the start of the laundry list.

U.S. Stunned by Italy at Investec World League in London

LONDON, England – June 23, 2013 – The U.S. Women’s National Team fell to Italy, 2-1, on Sunday in the second match of pool play at the World League Semi-Final in London. The silver lining is that the critical match of the tournament is the quarterfinal, which determines whether or not a team progresses to the top four places.

“It was a disappointing result considering we controlled much of the game,” said head coach Craig Parnham. “We dominated the game and looked after the ball, but didn’t get enough return from our circle entries.” Continue reading →
