Gangpur-Odisha won the Jr Women Hockey Nationals 2015 (B-Division)

Hockey Gangpur-Odisha defeated Hockey Patiala by 2-1 to win the 5th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship (Division B) concluded today at Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh). Whereas, Chandigarh Olympic Association won a close fought battle defeating Hockey Uttarakhand with 2-1 and settled with the third position.

Railway Won the Hockey National Championship 2015 (A-Division)

Railway Sports Promotion Board today won the championship of the 5th Senior National Hockey Championship 2015 (Men) Div- A as the defeated Uttar Pradesh Hockey by 5-3 in the highly-contested final match in Pune. In the Bronze Medal match, Air India Sports Promotion Board (AISPB) outplayed Hockey Gangpur-Odisha by 5-3 to finish at 3rd position in the tournament.

Haldwani, Uttarakhand, 25 May 2014: Debutants Hockey Gangpur-Odisha defeated Sports Authority of India (SAI) to win the B-Division of 4th Sub Junior National Hockey Championship 2014. Punjab finished at 3rd place by defeating Bhopal by a huge margin of 13-0, while the team from Gangpur-Odisha defeated SAI by 2-1 in final played here in Haldwani, Uttarakhand today.

18 May 2014: Hockey Gangpur-Odisha defeated Delhi 5-2 to emerge champions of the 4th Hockey India Sub- Junior Men National Championship (Division B) at Vadodara, Gujarat, while Sports Authority Of India finished at the 3rd place with a convincing and huge 11-2 victory over hosts Gujarat.

Hockey Junior Men Nationals in Chennai from 24th March

21 March 2014: The 4th edition of the Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2014 is all set to commence on 24th March 2014 in Chennai. The matches will be played at two venues SDAT Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium and YMCA Nandanam Hockey Stadium.

This year 3 additional teams will be competing for the top honours at the championship, which will be played in two-phase this year i.e A Division and B Division. 16 teams in Division A will compete in for pools to find a place in final four and then fight for the tile while Division B will see 19 teams competing for the places in A Division of next edition and the title of B-Division this year.
