NEW DELHI, November 8: The Hockey India League Players’ Auction will take place in the Capital (Delhi) on December 1, 2012, nearly five weeks before the Hockey India League is scheduled to start, Hockey India Secretary-General and Hockey India League Chairman Dr Narinder Batra said here today.
“The HIL Players’ Auction will be a massive landmark in the history of sport since there has been no precedent in any league. NEW DELHI, October 10: Hockey India League (HIL) announced the appointment of the vastly experienced Steve Catton as Competitions Director for the six-team franchise-based event that is slated to be held from January 5 to February 3, 2013.
