Kalinga Lancers will hosts Dabang Mumbai tomorrow, when the two sides met in Mumbai, both Kalinga Lancers and Dabang Mumbai gave a tough fight to each other but Dabang Mumbai managed to edge past Kalinga Lancers by a margin of just one goal. Currently, both the teams are sitting at the bottom of the Pool Table and will be striving to conquer the match in order to avoid finishing at the last position in the league.

An energetic first quarter of the match saw both Kalinga Lancers and Delhi Waveriders in an attacking mode as both the sides were trying to score the first goal in the match. Where Yuvraj Walmiki of Delhi Waveriders made a good run into the opponent’s D and failed to score the goal, Lucas Vila of Kalinga Lancers on the other hand, made a similar run but did not make any mistakes while firing in a field goal in the third minute of the game itself, helping Kalinga Lancers to take the lead by 1-0. Kalinga Lancers were dominating the first quarter as they were now penetrating Delhi Waveriders’ D more frequently, but goalkeeper Nicolas Jacobi with his perfect saves and atheletic skills, did not allow Kalinga Lancers to add any further goals to their lead. Jaypee Punjab Warriors conceded an early goal in the 13th minute and the second goal in the 45th minute leaving them trailing the game 2-0. Jaypee Punjab Warriors finally made a come-back in the game by leveling the scores 2-2 in the fourth quarter, but wasting no time Ranchi Rays came back strong and scored the third goal and went on to win the game. Ranchi Rays, who have remained unbeatable at their home ground with two draws and two wins, will face a tough challenge against the star-studded Jaypee Punjab Warriors who have specialised players in every department. Leading from the front is the top goal-scorer Sandeep Singh, who scored a hat-trick against the defending champions Delhi Waveriders in their previous match and very much specialised in penalty corners. The Barry Dancer boys will stick to their strategy of earning maximum penalty corners and leave it to Sandeep Singh to convert them.
