37 Junior Indian Men’s Hockey players are called for camp underway at SAI South Centre in Bangalore. The camp is part of the preparations for the FIH Junior Men’s Hockey World Cup to be hosted by India from 6 – 15 December 2013.

Hockey India Secretary General Dr Narinder Batra said that the appointment of Gregg Clark is an important step ahead of the Junior World Cup to be played in India at the end of this year. “Being the hosts of the Junior World Cup I think this is the best opportunity for India to achieve a top 3 finish in the most prestigious Junior Men Hockey Tournament. NEW DELHI, December 14: Ranchi Rhinos, one of the franchisees of Hockey India League is pleased to announce its support staff for the inaugural season starting from 16th January, 2013. David Ian John, a vastly experienced Exercise Physiologist from Australia, who worked with Indian National Men’s Hockey Team for almost 18 months. During his tenure our national team has won medals in tournaments like Asian Champions Trophy, Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and many others. Mr David has landed in the city this morning from Australia for participation in the Players’ auction to be held on 16th December.
