Learnt new skills of goalkeeping under Dave Staniforth: PR Sreejesh

The India Men Hockey team started their training session at Auckland for the upcoming New Zealand Series which commences on 02 October. India is touring New Zealand for a 4-Test match series against New Zealand National Team and two matches against New Zealand A team.

Olympian Hockeyroos Toni Cronk hangs up pads

Hockeyroos goalkeeper Toni Cronk has announced her retirement from international hockey. The 33 year old from Bankstown, Sydney, NSW, has decided to hang up her helmet and pads after more than a decade playing for Australia’s women’s hockey team.

Cronk, who was named in the 2009 World All Stars Team, ends her career as a double Commonwealth Games gold medallist and double Champions Trophy silver medallist. In all, she was capped 135 times for the Hockeyroos and represented Australia at two Olympic Games, the World Cup, two Commonwealth Games, five Champions Trophy tournaments and three Oceania Cups.
