Mahadik Appointed As Video Analyst for Indian Senior Men’s Hockey Team

19 July 2013: Dhananjay Mahadik, who represented India in 64 international matches including 2010 World Cup in New Delhi, has been appointed as Video Analyst of the Indian Senior Men’s National Team. He was the video analyst of Delhi Waveriders in the inaugural edition of Hero Hockey India League.

Dhananjay, Silver Medalist of 2010 CWG Delhi, said “I am excited to be a part of the national coaching set-up. Asia Cup is very important tournament for us and we have to win it to qualify for the World Cup 2014. It will be a good experience for me to work under highly experienced Mr. Roelant Oltmans and Mr. M K Kaushik. I have played with many of the current player’s of the Indian team and will try to guide them with the best of my knowledge”.

“The inaugural season of Hero Hockey India League was a big learning experience for me as a video analyst of the Delhi Waveriders” said Mahadik, who also part of Bronze Medal winning Indian team at Gguangzhou Asian Games in 2010. Continue reading →
