Chandigarh Olympic Association have won the 5th Sub Junior National Hockey Championship 2015 (Men) ‘B’ Division concluded today in Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir). The team from Chandigarh defeated Hockey Patiala by 6-4 in the final to win the title.

Hockey Madhya Pradesh secured the third position after a tough fight against Dadra & Nagar Haveli Hockey Association in the Bronze Medal match. Hockey Gangpur-Odisha defeated Hockey Patiala by 2-1 to win the 5th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship (Division B) concluded today at Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh). Whereas, Chandigarh Olympic Association won a close fought battle defeating Hockey Uttarakhand with 2-1 and settled with the third position.

New Delhi, 27th May 2014: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Jharkhand 5-2 in the finals of the 4th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Hockey Championship (Division A) held at Pune, Maharashtra today. While Chandigarh defeated Haryana 3-1 to finish win the Bronze Medal.

In the final match played between Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Hockey Jharkhand, the opening goal of the match came from MPHA’s Preeti Dubey as early as in the 2nd minute of the game. Two quick goals collaborated by Pratibha Arya and Preeti Dubey in the 17th and 22nd minute respectively indicated the game to be in favour of MPHA . 14 March 2014: On the opening day for Pool A and Pool B matches of the 4th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2014 (Division A) being played at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in Lucknow, Chandigarh Olympic Association, Services Sports Control Board and Comptroller & Auditor General of India, all registered their maiden win in their respective matches.
Goal mouth scramble in CAG vs Universities match at the 4th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship (A-Division) at Luckhnow
Chandigarh Olympic Association played an excellent match against Andhra Pradesh and defeated them with 4-2 in Pool A. Chandigarh Olympic Association was on a full throttle in the first half of the match as they dominated with a 2-0 lead till half time. Chandigarh’s Tarandeep Singh started off with the goal scoring spree for the team in the 9th minute of the game, followed by Navdeep Singh’s two goals in the 20th and 39th minute and Lakhwinder singh in the 51st minute. 13 March 2014: Tamil Nadu registered their first win in the 4th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2014 (Division A) being played at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in Lucknow, as they defeated Food Corporation of India 4-3 to open up the competition in Pool D.

In a group B match, Maxima Xalxo provided initial lead to her team in the 4th minute by scoring a field goal. Forward Phulwari Kandulana moving the ball from the right end of the court went on to score the second goal in the 21st minute. The defenders of Jammu and Kashmir tried hard to resist the front line players entering into the danger zone.
