Men’s Australian Hockey League Knock Out Stage Previews

Its finals time in Canberra, and the hockey is heating up! The top four teams have proven they each have the ability to cause an upset, and all are eager attain the success of the AHL Title. The Queensland Blades have already succeeded in achieving an improved performance, after the disappointment of finishing fifth last year, they have claimed top spot and will be keen to retain this position over the following days.

Hockey Australia LogoThe skill and prowess of all teams has been phenomenal over the past four weeks, and with all but two of the current Australian Kookaburra’s squad in attendance it is no surprise. These athletes have a total of over 3000 caps for Australian and a combined total of over 800 goals during their Australian representation. Throughout the tournament there has been 165 goals scored, and we are hopeful this trend in attack will continue. The games will commence at 10am on Friday morning, and will continue over the next two days, with the Grand Final to occur at 4:30pm at the National Hockey Centre.
