The win gave Jaypee Punjab Warriors five points to take their tally to 40 points from 10 games ahead of Delhi Waveriders (39 points).
Ranchi Rhinos finished their league engagements at the fourth spot with 26 points from 10 matches.

The Delhi Waveriders, who are confirmed of a place in Semi-Finals, took a sweet revenge of their defeat 0-1 at Ranchi by the Rhinos in the initial stage of the league.
It was expected to be hard-fought but goal-scoring contest between two teams who were the finalists last year and it turned out to be one, albeit the fact that the first 35 minutes of the game failed to produce any goals.
