With 93 goals from more than 170 matches, the 24-year-old Child has etched his mark as one of the world’s premier strikers with his unbelievable skills. NEW DELHI, October 10: Hockey India League (HIL) announced the appointment of the vastly experienced Steve Catton as Competitions Director for the six-team franchise-based event that is slated to be held from January 5 to February 3, 2013.

NEW DELHI, September 17: Hockey India today announced that Wave Group under the stewardship of Gurdeep Singh ‘Ponty’ Chadha, would own the Delhi franchise in the Hockey India League and make its maiden foray in the world of sports.

NEW DELHI, Sept 14: Hockey India League today announced that the Ranchi franchise would be taken up by the Patel-Uniexcel Group, making it the third of the six franchisees who will compete in the prestigious event to be held every year from January 2013. Sahara India and Jaypee Group are the franchisees for Lucknow and Punjab.
