Bodimeade names U.S. Women’s National and Development Squads

COLORADO SPRINGS, C.O. – Head Coach Lee Bodimeade has announced the 2012 U.S. Women’s National and Development Squads concluding the Women’s National Championship in College Park, MD. Overall, 84 athletes from across the nation participated in the event that commenced on June 1. Anticipation builds for finals of Women’s National Championship and selections to U.S National Squad

COLLEGE PARK, MD – In 48 hours the women competing at the National Championship in College Park with know their fate. On Friday, June 8, Head Coach Lee Bodimeade will announce the new U.S. Women’s National Field Hockey and Development Squads. One day closer to finalizing U.S. Olympic Women’s Field Hockey Team

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Action continued this afternoon in College Park, MD on day two of the Women’s National Championship. The week-long trial for selection to the U.S. National Team proved suspenseful and pressure filled. The competition was high as athletes battled for a chance to shine in front of National Team coaches. After suffering a 7-0 loss on day one of the tournament, the North came out with vengeance and capitalized on Mid Atlantic’s errors. COLLEGE PARK, MD – The top field hockey athletes in the country took the field for the first day of the Women’s National Championship in College Park, MD.
