Rob, with Dutch Hockey Star Floris Jan Bovelander, has co-founded a great sporting initiative that is directed towards the development of hockey at the grassroots level in India. This visionary initiative is the “One Million Hockey Legs (1MHL)” program. Star-studded Air India dethroned Indian Oil Corporation Limited 3-1 in the men’s final to lift the 2nd Bengaluru Hockey Cup, while in women’s competition Haryana XI edged past defending champions Madhya Pradesh Academy 2-1 in shoot-out to win the title. Both the teams played a 0-0 draw in the regulation time at the hockey Stadium here on Monday.

The 32nd edition of the Indian Oil Surjit Hockey Tournament, will be held in Jalandhar Olympian Surjit Astroturf Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park from October 30 to November 5. And the 2nd edition of the Bengaluru Cup will be organized by Hockey Karnataka from 10th-19th October at KSHA Hockey Stadium in Bangalore.

Defending champions Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) team retained the title of All India MCC Murugappa Hockey Tournament 2015 by defeating 3-2 Army XI in the final at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium, Egmore, Chennai.

After a neck-to-neck tussle between the two best teams of the 5th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women National Championship 2015, Hockey Punjab outplayed Hockey Jharkhand by a narrow margin of 3-2 in the final match and clinched the title in Ranchi today. In the 3rd/4thPosition match, Hockey Odisha defeated Hockey Haryana by 5-2 and claimed the 3rd Position in the Hockey India National Championship.
