Indian Women’s Hockey Team will face hosts Netherlands in the quarter-finals of Hockey World League, while Pool B toppers Germany will take on Chile. New Zealand and Korea lock horns with Japan and Belgium respectively in other two quarter-final matches in Rotterdam.

India, who finished last in their Pool B after a draw against Belgium (1-1) and two losses against New Zealand (7-0) and Germany (7-1) will have difficult task when they take on London Olympics Gold Medalists Netherlands. The Dutch women were slow starter in the tournament and were held for 1-1 draw by Japan in campaign opener, but made the necessary changes in their to game to beat Korea (2-0) in next pool match. The women in orange finished their pool stage with big victory (10-0) over Chile to top Pool A.

Germany won all of their pool matches to top Pool B. The Germans, who defeated Belgium, New Zealand and India with 3-0, 3-2 and 7-1 respectively, should have an easy outing in quarter-finals as they face Chile, who are yet to register a victory in Round 3 at Rotterdam.

The top three teams from the World League Semi-Final automatically qualify for the 2014 Hockey World Cup, although it is possible to earn qualification at the tournament with a lower ranking.
