The highlights of Day 4 of Men’s Hockey Competition at London 2012 will see the clash of the current two Pool toppers in their respective pools. World Number 3 Netherlands will take Defending Champions Germany at 16:00 BST in Pool B match, while current World Champions Australia will be up against the Hosts Great Britain in Pool A at 19:00 BST in the 1st match of the third session.

London 2012 Hockey PreviewsThe day will start with the match between world number 7 Black Sticks and number 11 Belgium, who are currently 5th and 4th place in Pool B with a win each from 3 matches. Both of them will be looking for 3 points to keep their chances of semi-finals alive.

The 2nd match of the day will be played between Pakistan and South Africa, the lowest ranked team in competition. Asian giants the Green Shirts can not afford draw or loss against the Africans, and will have to sweat it out against the South African Lads led by Austin SMITH, who played a draw against hosts Great Britain in Pool A game to earn their lone point.

The Mid-day session will open with eight time Olympics Gold Medalists India taking on Korea (number 6 in world ranking). Korea has 3 points for one win of the 3 games and are placed at 3rd position in the Pool, while India are in the last place and yet to earn a point. Recently India defeated Korea 2-1 in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2012. While the last match of day will see injury affected Spain, the silver medalists from Beijing, taking on Argentina, who are yet to win a game at Riverbank Arena.
