Defending Champions India with little lesser experienced players than their recent outings in Asiads and CWG, new captain Arjun Halappa and new chief coach Harendra Singh are prepared to participate in 20th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup at Sultan Azlan Shah Stadium, Ipoh (Prak, Malaysia), which is a two hour drive north of Kuala Lumpur.

Official website of the tournament mentions that  “Only subscribers of Astro in Malaysia will be able to watch live telecast on television. Details of live matches to other countries are not made available to us of yet though we believe that India has made numerous requests but no word from the right holders.” Which is very sad affair for hockey lovers in India.
