Prabhjot Singh

File photo: Star forward Prabhjot Singh interacting with media after Asia Cup 2007

Indian teams will miss the service of veteran Prabhjot Singh (Men’s) and Mamta Kharab (Women’s). Prabhjot Singh was dropped from the team after bad form during World Cup and never considered again for selection despite of good performance in domestic tournaments. Forward Rani Ramphal will be Indian hope for women’s team to get the gold back. 15 year old Rani was in superb form in recently concluded World Cup at Rosario and fetched the Best Young Player award. She was the second highest scorer of the tournament with 6 field goals (maximum by any player in WC 2010).

Thanks a ton to Suchita Lohia from Chennai for sharing the Photographs with us :).
