In spite of controversies, Indian eves  stunned 3rd ranked China the Bronze play-off match in the inaugural Asian Women Champions Trophy hockey tournament at Busan, South Korea on Saturday. India was at the bottom of table after round robin stage of the tournament, where they lost to Japan (2-3), to China (6-1) and to Korea (5-3).

The Indians showed great fighting spirit when they came from behind to win the match after a goal deficit to beat China whom they lost league match with big margin of 5 goals. Saba Anjum (24th minute) and Surinder (63rd) scored for Indians while China got their lone through Wang Mengyu (16th) in a penalty corner.
