Bronze for Indian Eves in Asian Women Champions Trophy 2010

In spite of controversies, Indian eves  stunned 3rd ranked China the Bronze play-off match in the inaugural Asian Women Champions Trophy hockey tournament at Busan, South Korea on Saturday. India was at the bottom of table after round robin stage of the tournament, where they lost to Japan (2-3), to China (6-1) and to Korea (5-3). Continue reading →

Day 1:
Japan beat India 3-2. (Saba Anjum and Surinder Kaur)
Korea beat China 1-0

Day 2:
China beat India 6-1 (Deepika Thakur)
Korea drew with Japan 2-2.

Day 3:
Japan drew with China 2-2
Korea beat India 5-3 ( Saba Anjum, Rani Ramphal and Subadhra Pradhan)

Europe tour of team India July 2010

The team India led by forward Rajpal Singh played in Four Nation Hambur Masters Tournament, then test series of 3 matches against Belgium, a 3 test matches series against France and concluded the tour with a series of 2 tests against Holland.
